Photo Props

Baby photography is bigger than ever. We used to take photos of our kids but these days you must have props.  Recently I visited a home with a new baby.  They were expecting the photographer any minute and had the following props ready:  3 bonnets, a crown, a tiara, white feather wings, a red tutu with a head band to match, a baseball cap, three different colored fur throws, a string of LED lights–well you get the idea.  I saw this idea on Salt Marsh Designs blog here.

These are onsies with a different month on each one.   I bought the onesies from Walmart and  got the clip art online from here and made the numbers  into t-shirt transfers.  Here’s what Avery looked like in her first picture.

At the end of the year we will be able to see how much she’s grown.  I’ve sold five sets of these onesies.  They make a GREAT shower gift.

About ladybelle

I'm a wife, mother and grandmother and I love to make things, especially sock monkeys. They're great for all kinds of gifts, birthdays, baby showers, etc. Kids love them and so do adults!! I've made many football players, including Peyton Manning, Tony Romo and Tom Brady, and character monkeys like Rainbow Brite and the Grinch. Look at some of my favorites and email me with your requests at
